Membership & Programs Coordinator

Location: Parker, Colorado

 

Overview: We are seeking a highly-organized, reliable, and personable individual to join our team as the Membership & Programs Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing various leadership programs, groups, and events focused on membership recruitment and engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting local businesses, adept at multitasking, skilled with writing and presenting, and capable of thriving in a collaborative environment. 

Employment Type: 40 hours per week, 32 in-office and 8 remote; non-traditional work hours regularly required based on events.

Compensation: $50,000 annual salary (based on 40 hours).

Benefits: Flexible schedule and generous paid time off, including two paid weeks off at the holidays in addition to regular PTO. Cell phone stipend, paid supplemental benefits, 401k retirement with employer contribution, professional development. The Chamber does not provide health insurance at this time.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in membership sales, service, and member engagement indexing; membership database management.
  2. Manage the organization’s membership retention programs.
  3. Support the Vice President of Membership, including stewardship of sponsors and high-level investors.
  4. Plan and implement various membership events with the Events Coordinator.
  5. Supervise special membership groups, including leads groups, the Non-Profit Organizations Council, groups for minority entrepreneurs, etc.
  6. Handle logistics for programs, including the Women’s Experience leadership cohort program.
  7. General office support, interacting with members and visitors.
  8. Management of the chamber’s social media.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Google productivity suite and member management and/or sales databases.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Reliable transportation and your own laptop computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree or comparable experience in business, marketing, communications, or other relevant area.
  • 3 years of professional experience in program and/or membership management, event planning, customer service, or volunteer services.
  • Experience in a non-profit and/or small business setting.
  • Knowledge of the Parker small business community and the Chamber.

Working Conditions: Office environment; ability to lift up to 20 pounds; vehicle for local travel to events and programs; occasional overnight travel for professional development opportunities (optional).
